In Uttar Pradesh every year an entrance test is conducted
for admission to the course of the Bachelor of Education. Examinations are
organized for admission in government colleges, government-aided colleges and
private colleges. Lucknow University is the official body for conducting joint
entrance exam for the B. Ed course in the state.
Interested candidates should be prepared for the
registration process. Registration for the UP B Ed Admission Exam is expected
to begin in the second week of February 2019. Candidates who wish to start
their career as a teacher will have to enter the entrance examination to pursue
B. Ed’s course in the UP State. Interested candidates will carefully look at

application for students to participate in the Uttar Pradesh B.Ed entrance
examination 2019, for which applications will be made from the last week of

Eligibility Criteria :-
- He should be a citizen of India.
- Candidates should have graduate from Science and Commerce stream with 50% marks.
- However the candidates who have passed B.Tech should have 55% marks Or post graduate.
- The candidates of the reserved category will have concession in the marks obtained in the Bachelor’s degree.
- The minimum age limit of the candidate should be 21 years.

Reservations
As per the norms of the Lucknow University, there is also a
provision of reservation for the different categories. The list is mentioned
below:
- 27% reservation of seats for the candidates of OBC category.
- 21% reservation of seats for the candidates of SC category.
- 2% reservation of seats for the candidates of ST category.
UP B.Ed. Exam Details :
2 Paper will be conducted in written exam for UP B.Ed.. Both
papers will consist 2 parts. Paper details as per below :

Part A – General Knowledge & Current Affairs
Part B – Language Test (Hindi or English)

Total Marks – 100 (Each question will carry 2 marks)
